Advocacy for Legislative Change

Moving forward, Kacey will continue collaborating with advocates and organisations to lobby Parliament for amendments to current legislation in England and Wales, aiming to extend protections to individuals subjected to coercion within groups and other non-domestic contexts.

Research

Kacey’s research focuses on developing a universal instrument to measure coercive control, expanding current frameworks to include non-domestic contexts such as cults, extremist groups, and workplaces. The Extent of Coercive Control Universal Scale was the focus of Kacey's MSc research, and she hopes to have the results published soon. â€‹
